Project 5
From Blizzard's New MMO Wiki
Project 5 refers to a fifth project currently in development by Blizzard and that means it's not the Next-Gen MMO. There are no official words about this game and the only clue we have so far is some job listings on Blizzard's career site such as a 3D Production Artist to join the team of an Unannounced Game Title [1]
According to unofficial sources[2] the new project is currently using the World of Warcraft game engine for testing purposes, and one of the two currently open positions for the project includes a client software engineer who will be responsible for developing a new engine from scratch.
Based on sayings of past job listings it will be an online multiplayer game.
Every time somebody working on Blizzard is interviewed, there are more and more hints about Blizzard going after consoles. It's likely that the Project 5 will be developed with consoles as main target.
There were rumors stating that Project 5 could be Project Hydra, but as it was later proven Project Hydra was the codename of Diablo 3.
